an observation

An observation( may be right or wrong)-I read somewhere that TV soaps represent mentality of masses.A common question arises in Indian TV soaps-- what will be your career?? and mostly the answer is - first engineering, then MBA, Then a job in a big company.. And we say why don't India make any scientific progress. this shows that there is no individualism in our country, most people want be hired by a big company(mostly owned by a foreign individual)... Looks like people in our country are united about something. :P
