Here comes the rain

After a long and boiling summer finally I experience the much awaited petrichor.

The smell that gives a sense of relief for all and a sense of hope to farmers.

The first smell of which many get out of the bed and under the pouring sky.

The aroma which brings coolness, happiness and excitement.

The sound of rain drops hitting the leaves, free flowing streams of water, splash in a puddle, cool breeze through your hairs, don’t you live for it.

And the best part is when the rain stops and the birds come out and create a symphony.
