Simple or complex???

Most people say, don't try to think too much. Life is simple, don't make it complex. But I always wonder if it took 3.8 billion years for its evolution it ought to be complex. Human race has always tried to make it simpler by introducing religion and customs. It is easy to follow a predefined set of rules and make life simpler. But it becomes difficult when you leave the predefined paths and search for the answers. But there is no end to these answers, we don't have the capability to perceive or find all of them. So try to live a simple life along with reasoning and effects of those reasons on life...... :D
